Siem Reap


Siem Reap (Siemréb) is the closest town to Cambodia's Angkor Wat - the name means "Siamese Victory" because of a major battle that the Thais won here

Smiley's daughter : Smiley's is the name of the guest house that we stayed in. Most of the rooms were in a cinderblock row with tin roofs - Weather conditions in South East Asia in August are 99% humidity; 110°f. Daytime ambient in these rooms rival that in a Mississippi BBQ pit. We stayed in the baesment of Smiley's own house. (Cambodia, The Travel Addicts)
