Mardi Himal Trek - Day 1

Mardi Himal, locally known as Machupuchare, is a mountain peak commonly called "Fishtail" for it's shape. Our trek was to take us on to the shoulder of the mountain. The beginning of the trek is also part of of the Annapurna circuit. - on Day 1 we went from Pokhara to Dhampus (1620m). Dampus is home to the Gurung people.
