Sepilok
Sepilok Forest Reserve is a virgin jungle park in Borneo. A sign here said:
Welcome to Kabili-Sepilok forest reserve
A virgin jungle reserve, covering 4300 hectares of rich tropical forest including lowland primary forest and mangrove swamps. It is home to both wild Orangutan's and Orangutans in various stages of rehabilitation.
There are over 450 species of trees as well as climbers, palms, pandans and herbs. The vegetation, soil and other physical characteristics form a balanced ecosystem making it a great haven for an abundance of wildlife.
About 90 species of mammals including Orangutan, red-leaf monkey, honey bear, macaque, gibbon, clouded leopard, bearded pig, and deer are found here. The bird life is also diverse with over 200 species of birds such as the great argus pheasant, 7 species of hornbill, asian paradise flycatcher, and the borneo bristlehead. Many species of reptiles, amphibians, and insects also contribute to the thriving community that inhabits the Kabili-Sepilok forest reserve often referred to as Sepilok.

Waiting for the bridge to be fixed
They would not let us into the sanctuary until they repaired the bridge.

Sneaking around the bridge
They eventually relented and let us walk around the downed bridge. Since the bridge didn't really go over anything, we assume it was meant to reduce wear and tear on the jungle flora.

Anti-macaque propaganda
Sign reads: "Awas monyet liar (Dilarang beri makanan)"
We took this to mean: "Always monkeys lie (they're doing funny things with berries)" but it actually means: "Beware of wild monkeys (do not feed)
Good advice, as the Macaques were total bastards and aggressive as hell.
