Indonesia
Indonesia is an archipelago lying upon the equator in South East Asia. It's extremely culturally diverse, with hundreds of ethnic groups and boasts the most densely populated local in the world (the island of Java). It's extremely poor, and very, very cheap to travel in. It's one of SGK and my favorite places to be a budget traveler in.
