Cambodia
The country of Cambodia is one that has a recent reputation for being blood-soaked. Pol-Pot and his Khmer-Rouge did a number on the country that will leave it reeling for decades to come. Most westerners younger than a certain age will only know of the horrors from movies like "The Killing Fields".

The Cambodia of antiquity is a fascinating place as Khmer civilization built some of the most astounding monuments in the world. Hollywood has shown the world these monuments in such movies as "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom", and "Lara Croft - Tomb Raider".

We came here to see these monuments, and experience for ourselves what has become of this place after Pol-Pot's demise.
